Stream the Magic of The Paramount

The Paramount Theater’s mission is to educate, enchant, enrich, and enlighten our Charlottesville community. During this brief intermission while our stage and screen are dark for the safety of our community, we hope our streaming content will bring The Paramount’s magic to your home!

Blast From the Past: Blake Shelton

Just a few years after releasing his debut album, country star Blake Shelton performed at The Paramount. Mr. Shelton was only 29 at the time, and Sue Green, who was part of the Theater’s security team, recalls the singer as being “cute, fun, and every bit the excited rising star.” Mr. Shelton has since charted 40 singles, including 26 number ones, and, outside of his music, may be best known for his time as a coach on the hit singing competition The Voice.

We are diligently working to reschedule many of our events that have been interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These events contribute significantly toward our yearly operating budget, and we know that we will suffer a devastating loss of revenue as a local nonprofit theater. Please consider making a donation to The Paramount.
