A Warning about Third-Party Tickets
The Paramount Theater does not sell to ticket brokers or resellers. Our website is the only official online source for tickets to events at The Paramount Theater. Please exercise caution when searching for tickets online. Often, the first search engine results shown are for third-party resellers like Tickets-Center, eTickets, Ticketsales, VividSeats, Stubhub, SeatGeek, etc. Our box office is unable to verify tickets purchased through third parties for you, and our box office staff will not be able to resolve issues such as lost or invalid tickets.
Ticket resale or attempted resale at a price higher than face value is a violation of our terms and conditions. As such, we reserve the right to cancel purchases found to be sold under these circumstances. All hard tickets and e-tickets have the original face value printed on them. Tickets deemed suspicious will not scan at the door. Do not make copies or attempt to sell copies. Transferring tickets to a second party requires original purchaser ID.
Ticketing Fees
All internet and telephone purchases are subject to a per ticket convenience fee. Convenience fees are waived for tickets purchased in person at the Paramount Box Office. Convenience Fees are non-refundable.
Ticket Refunds
The Paramount Theater offers third-party booking protection that enables you to receive a full refund if you are unable to attend an event due to a number of reasons. This protection is offered at cost of 7% of your ticket price.

Student Rush Tickets
To make Paramount events more accessible, all students are eligible to purchase remaining tickets to Paramount Presents shows at a 50% discount 60 minutes prior to each performance. Student Rush is only available for events that are not offering a student or youth ticket price. Student Rush Tickets may be purchased only in person at the Paramount Box Office, and all students must show a valid student ID or proof of enrollment to obtain the discount.
Youth/Child Tickets
Youth/Child tickets are for patrons age 12 and younger. All children, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket (no “babes in arms”). Any child attending an evening performance should be able to sit quietly through the show. As a courtesy to other audience members, please use discretion in bringing a young child to a performance not designated for children. In some cases, performances without a Youth/Child price level may be inappropriate for young children. Please contact the Box Office at 434.979.1333 for additional information.
Senior Tickets
For some events, Senior tickets are available to patrons 65 and older. Please contact the Box Office at 434.979.1333 for additional information.

Share the magic of the performing arts with your friends and family! Groups of 20 or more attending Paramount performances receive a 10% discount on the price of tickets. The complete order for a group should be placed at one time. Group Discounts do not apply to all shows. Please contact the Box Office at 434.979.1333 for more information.

Lost and Found
If you think you’ve left something behind, we’re happy to help you find it – give us a call at 434-979-1333 or email us at boxoffice@theparamount.net. The most common articles that don’t go home with a guest are credit cards, phones, glasses, and umbrellas. These items often get turned in to us or we find them between seats when we clean up after an event. We have quite a collection of drugstore readers, too.
Parking
Parking for Paramount events can be reserved through ParkMobile at the Water Street Garage. Click here to see if reserved parking is offered for your event. Rates are set by the garage and are subject to change. Unreserved parking can be purchased on arrival through ParkMobile at First and Market Parking and West Second Street Surface Lot. Limited street parking is also available in Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall area.
