JABA will be celebrating 50 years of service to the community with a special musical event on October 11, 2024 directed by musical provocateur John D’earth and featuring the acclaimed jazz vocalist Stephanie Nakasian, along with multiple guest artists.

D’earth’s working quintet, comprised of JC Kuhl, Devonne Harris, Peter Spaar, and Garen Dorsey, will anchor the proceedings. All of the Gala’s musical guests share a long history with D’earth. C-Ville-bred-and-Chicago-based trumpet player/composer Emily Kuhn and her newly recorded band, the exceptional singer-songwriter Diane Cluck, renowned jazz drummer/composer Robert Jospé, and tenor saxophone virtuoso Charles Owens, will all be featured during the performances.

VIP ticket holders can attend an after-party at The Paramount catered by C&O Restaurant and meet the performers!

All proceeds from the event go directly to JABA programs and services.
