The SING ME A STORY series continues with “Your Journey to the Stage,” an engaging program designed for anyone with a love for the arts and a curiosity about how opera and theater come to life. Whether you’re a lifelong opera fan, a performer yourself, or simply interested in the creative process behind the scenes, this immersive experience offers a unique glimpse into the world of live performance.

This behind-the-scenes look at opera pulls back the curtain on the many roles that bring a production to life—from singers and orchestra members to stage designers and technical artists. Some performers began with classical training, while others found their passion later in life.

Through live opera performances and interactive storytelling, audiences will explore the works of composers like Bizet and Mozart, alongside insights into musical theater.

The program highlights the personal journeys of the performers and backstage team members, showcasing how creativity, commitment, and collaboration fuel every role in the world of theater.

Attendees will leave with a deeper appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to succeed on stage—and perhaps even inspiration to explore their own creative paths.

Join us for an entertaining and enlightening experience, and discover how diverse stories and determination unite to create the magic of the stage!

Thanks to generous grant support from The Joseph and Robert Cornell Memorial Foundation, this program will be made available for FREE to the community.

Registration is required for this FREE event.

This program is 60 minutes and includes a Q&A.
