The Virginia Dance Company (DCO) presents “DCO Now, Think Later” a dance showcase featuring 50 talented UVA student dancers in a variety of different styles: contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. As Tate McRae might say, don’t “RUN FOR THE HILLS,” DCO is here! We hope to see you on November 17th at 2 pm.

Company Bio
In 1980, Charlottesville Dance Studio owner Juanita Wilson helped create “The Virginia Dance Club” at UVA with the hope that the student-run organization would allow incoming dancers to maintain and expand their dancing skills. At the end of each semester, the company showcases 10-12 choreographed dances. Since its creation, the company has held auditions in both the Fall and Spring, attracting highly skilled dancers of many backgrounds. Now known as the Virginia Dance Company (DCO), the organization has advanced beyond the creator’s initial idea, and has become a well-respected and revered dance company!
