The Virginia Dance Company (DCO) presents “DCO: Just Dance,” a dance showcase featuring 50 talented UVA student dancers in a variety of different styles: contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. No need to worry, just dance (or watch us do it) on Saturday, April 5th! We hope to see you there!

Company Bio:
In 1980, the Virginia Dance Club  at UVA was created with the hope that the student-run organization would allow incoming dancers to maintain and expand their dancing skills.

Since its creation, the company has held auditions in both the Fall and Spring, attracting highly skilled dancers of many backgrounds. Now known as the Virginia Dance Company (DCO), the organization has advanced far beyond its creator’s initial idea, and has become a well-respected and revered dance company. Presently, the company rehearses year-round, performs consistently throughout the University and Charlottesville, and is home to an average of 50 talented members.
