Cville Band Presents: Summer Season at The Paramount — The Classics!

Live Events | 07/23/2024 | 7:30PM

Doug Nash
Michelle Schroeder

The Charlottesville Band’s second summer show at The Paramount Theater is our Classics program. Every musical genre has a list of classic selections, so come to our concert and hear some of our favorites.

Our guest soloists for this show include Band member clarinetists Doug Nash and Michelle Schroeder. Additionally, Band members Gary Fagan, Charles Torian, and Charles Vaughan will each conduct a piece with the Band. Annie Meng, our 2024 Competition winner, will return to perform Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto. And as always, our Instrument Petting Zoo will be operating at the foot of the stage before the performance, so families with younger children can see and touch some of the instruments in the Band.
