Aged 6 to 16, the youthful members of the Russian American Kids Circus amaze and astound with their acrobatics, synchronized unicycling, tightrope walking, artful juggling, daring aerial feats, and balancing acts. A synthesis of circus arts, theater, dance, music, and comedy, the troupe’s high-energy, interactive show gives birth to an entirely new genre of performance.

The Russian American Kids Circus will bring a delightful evening of entertainment for all ages to The Paramount Theater on Saturday, October 6 at 7 pm. This event is sponsored by ACAC Fitness & Wellness Centers. Special Media Sponsor is Richmond.com.

Trained by veterans of the legendary Moscow Circus, the troupe’s young artists fill the stage with a blur of spangles, dazzling audiences with breathtaking feats of balance, strength, and flexibility. The Circus was founded in 1994 by former Moscow Circus star Alex Berenchtein, his wife Regina, and mother-in-law Olga Partigul as the non-profit New Way Circus Center, Inc. Through instruction in the circus curriculum, the academy encouraged children of all ages and backgrounds to learn artistic self-expression and teamwork. The advanced students went on to perform as the Russian American Kids Circus.

The troupe has now been performing for over a decade, making appearances at Walt Disney World’s Millennium Celebration and on MTV, as well as being featured on TV programs including The Cosby Show, Good Morning America, and Reading Rainbow on PBS.

Tickets for the Russian American Kids Circus on Saturday, October 6 are $29.50, $32.50, $35.50, and $40.50. A Youth/Child price of $25.50 is offered to those aged 12 and under. Half-price student rush tickets and group discounts are also available.
