Tickets for all shows in The Paramount Theater's 2006-07 Season will go on sale to Paramount Theater members on Tuesday, August 1.

The forthcoming 62-event schedule features world-class artists such as violinist Itzhak Perlman, comedienne Whoopi Goldberg, blues legend Bo Diddley, country sensation Trisha Yearwood, jazz great Branford Marsalis, the acclaimed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, folk legend Art Garfunkel, and perennial pop favorites The Beach Boys. The season, which kicks off on September 6 with celebrated vocalist and songwriter Paul Anka, runs through May 2007 and includes a variety of music, comedy, Broadway, dance, and family performances.

Members of The Paramount Theater may take advantage of an early on-sale period from Tuesday, August 1 through Monday, August 14. Annual Paramount Theater memberships start at $75 and entitle the member to advance purchasing for all performances in the season. Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this benefit may contact The Paramount's Box Office at 434.979.1333 or join when purchasing tickets.

Paramount tickets may be ordered in a variety of ways. Revamped online ticket ordering allows for real-time transactions and hundreds of simultaneous users. In addition, the theater's box office will be taking orders by phone (434.979.1333) and in person at 215 East Main Street.

Ticket sales for the 2006-07 Season will open to the general public on Tuesday, August 15. Hours for The Paramount's Box Office during both on-sale periods are 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Ticket requests will be filled in the order in which they are received, with the best-available seats being issued on a first-come, first-served basis. All sales are final.
