Paramount Seeking Director of Development

The Paramount is currently seeking a Director of Development to plan, administer, and implement all fundraising activities for the theater. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The Director will maintain a proactive leadership role in the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of individual, corporate, and foundation contributions. The successful candidate will work closely with the President & CEO, staff, and volunteers to manage the development department in a fiscally-sound manner, ensuring that appropriate systems, development personnel, and procedures are in place to achieve annual fundraising goals. In addition, this individual will prepare and/or oversee all direct mail letters, case statements, grants, brochures, and sponsorship proposals to support the organization's fundraising efforts.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred, with 5 to 7 years of proven experience managing a complex fundraising program in a sophisticated organization; demonstrated experience in managing people and budgets; ability to work creatively in an hands-on environment; knowledge of Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint important.

Compensation: Negotiable and commensurate with experience.
