The Paramount's 2005-2006 series of classic movies continues in October with an Alfred Hitchcock weekend of crime, adventure, and suspense featuring Dial M for Murder on Saturday, October 15, and North by Northwest on Sunday, October 16.

In 1954's Dial M for Murder, an ex-tennis pro (Ray Milland) plots to murder his rich and unfaithful wife (Grace Kelly), blackmails an old college classmate to do the job for him, and must improvise to turn things to his advantage when plans go awry. In 1959's North by Northwest, a middle-aged Madison Avenue ad executive (Cary Grant), mistaken for a CIA agent by a gang of spies, is pursued across the United States and helped by a beautiful blonde (Eva Marie Saint) who turns out to be a spy herself.

Dial M for Murder will show at 7:00 pm on October 15, and North by Northwest will show at 2:00 pm October 16. Tickets are available in advance through the theater's Box Office at 434.979.1333, which will also open two hours prior to each showing time. Tickets are $6, with a Youth/Child price of $4 applying to those 18 and younger. All seats are general admission.

Additional movie titles will be shown at The Paramount throughout the 2005-2006 Season. For the complete schedule of movies and live performances, visit http://www.theparamount.net/calendar_movies.aspx.
