Sponsoring performances at The Paramount provides a unique opportunity to support the arts while also reaching our diverse, intergenerational audiences of local businesses and community members, school teachers and children, university students and faculty, and retirees. Nearly 127,000 audience members from central Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and 32 states have come through our doors since the theater reopened in December 2004. Now, with year-round events and genres ranging from country to classical, The Paramount provides entertainment for everyone.

Bring your business to the attention of the 600-1,000 people who attend each Paramount performance by sponsoring a single event or the entire season. Consider sponsoring one of The Paramount Theater’s shows during the 2007-08 Paramount season -- for as little as $2,500 we will announce you or your company at the beginning of your sponsored show, give you complimentary tickets to your sponsored performance, and recognize you in the program for the show. Your name will also be displayed on the Sponsors Wall in the theater's Grand Lobby. Additional benefits apply depending on sponsorship amount (see below).

Through the help of our sponsors, The Paramount is able to offer quality live theater to Central Virginians at a reasonable price. Sponsors also allow us to offer educational programs to area students at a reduced ticket price of $5 per student.

We are thrilled with how many individuals and local businesses embrace our mission of bringing quality arts, educational performances, and entertainment to our community and Central Virginia.

An additional benefit for sponsors is the Season Box Program, which gives sponsors the opportunity to purchase tickets for all Paramount performances.

2007-08 Season Sponsorship Benefits

For an In the Spotlight Sponsor gift ($2,500+), you will receive:

  • Company or individual profile opposite artist's title page in sponsored show's program
  • Advance notice of special programs and added events
  • Name and logo in Paramount brochure on sponsored show(s) page (distributed to 60,000+ households)
  • Recognition in donor listing in Paramount show programs
  • Complimentary tickets to sponsored performance(s)
  • Recognition on artist's title page of sponsored show's program
  • Recognition in Paramount press releases, print advertising, and posters for sponsored show(s)
  • Opportunity to welcome the audience at sponsored show(s)
  • Acknowledgement on Paramount website with link to your website
  • Purchase tickets to Paramount performances before most members and public
  • Prominent recognition on the Sponsors Wall in the Grand Lobby for two seasons (current season and the next season)
  • Concierge Ticket Service
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
  • Thank you for your support!

For a Center Stage Sponsor gift ($5,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

  • Ability to purchase a block of seats for full season or sponsored show, with 10% discount on 20+ seats
  • Host clients, employees, or friends in Balcony Lounge or Ballroom before sponsored show(s) (rental fees apply)
  • Season access to Founder's Lounge
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
  • Thank you for your support!

For a Director Sponsor gift ($10,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

  • Reserved seats for sponsored production
  • Reserved parking for sponsored production
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
  • Thank you for your support!

For a Producer Sponsor gift ($25,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

  • "Backstage Pass" access to artists (when available)
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
  • Thank you for your support!

For an Education Sponsor gift ($50,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

  • Recognition as Education Sponsor in all educational materials
  • Two (2) complimentary tickets to any show
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
  • Thank you for your support!

For a Season Sponsor gift ($100,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

  • Name on all Paramount show tickets
  • Recognition and invitation to welcome the audience at beginning of every show
  • Company or individual profile inside every show program
  • Recognition as 2007-2008 Season's Sponsor in all Paramount marketing materials
  • Fully tax-deductible less value of performance tickets (2% quid pro quo rules apply)
