Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival – Free Community Concert

The Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, which will hold concerts at various locations around the city from September 8th to 18th, is bringing its world-class musicians to The Paramount Theater for two concerts. On Monday, September 9th at 12:30 pm, the Festival invites the community to a free concert. The next night, September 10th, the musicians will perform at 7:30 pm in a ticketed event.

Founded in 2000 by Charlottesville natives Raphael Bell (cello) and Timothy Summers (violin and viola), the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, September 8-18, 2019, invites world-class musicians who give fresh reads on traditional classical works, as well as contemporary chamber works. The diversity of programming, musicians, and variety of instruments sets this Festival apart in Central Virginia and offers a unique experience for chamber music lovers throughout the region.
