JOIN THE ARTS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP

The Paramount Theater believes that performing arts are an essential part of every child’s education. As a non-profit organization, we depend on individual and corporate contributions to subsidize the cost of tickets and provide financial assistance so that all students are able to participate in the Arts Education Program. With your support, students throughout our community are exposed to the life changing experiences that only the arts can provide!

Thanks to the generosity of our Arts Education supporters, each season The Paramount serves thousands of students and teachers from throughout Central Virginia. ALL student/teacher tickets are subsidized and students who qualify for free and reduced meals participate at no cost.

These enriching Arts Education Programs matter:

“My students said this was their very favorite show they had ever seen! The energy, audience engagement, music and message were extremely valuable and FUN! I cannot thank The Paramount enough for providing my students with scholarship tickets so that we could attend this performance. This is such a gift both to my program and my students. Thank you!” – Parkside “Leap Beyond” Post High Program at Charlottesville High School

“Thank you for supporting us financially so that our whole grade level could attend. This was an opportunity to enjoy the arts and learn how important it is to tell a story in different ways. Hopefully, it will inspire future artists, musicians, and singers to keep this important part of our culture alive.” – 2nd Grade Teacher, Mountainview Elementary School

“It would not have been possible for the Bright Stars to attend without financial assistance from The Paramount. The children had a wonderful time and recreated the performances in the classroom for days after the performance! The commitment that The Paramount has to schools and children is an inspiration. We are extremely fortunate to have you in our community.” Bright Stars Family Coordinator, Stone Robinson Elementary School
