The Virginia Foundation Center for the Book presents Walter Mosley in a benefit for the Center's literacy and literary programs, including the Virginia Festival of the Book. Mosley's wide-ranging writing career includes the Easy Rawlins novels, the Fearless Jones series, and three sci-fi novels. Among his numerous awards are a 2002 Grammy for the liner notes accompanying Richard Pryor’s And It’s Deep Too!, the Sundance Risktaker Award, and the PEN USA Lifetime Achievement Award.
