Orquesta Sinfonica del Estado de México (OESM), The State Symphony of Mexico, was founded to spread music as an art, creating union and identity among Mexican citizens. Now entering its fourth decade, OSEM has become one of the premiere orchestras in its native land. Making a rare United States tour under the direction of Maestro Enrique Batiz, the Symphony will perform a diverse program including works by Rachmaninoff (featuring pianist Leonel Morales) and Mendelssohn as well as Mexican composers Carlos Chavez and Silvestre Revueltas.
