The Rosa Parks Story

All educational performances are one hour.
Rosa is a contemporary ballet danced by six women as a tribute to civil rights activist Rosa Parks who refused to sit in the segregated back of the bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Rosa celebrates the courage of those who dare to be different. Also included will be a lecture/demonstration.
This project is partially supported by a grant from Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, a program developed and funded by the Heinz Endowments; the William Penn Foundation; the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency; and The Pew Charitable Trusts; and administered by Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.
