Known internationally for presenting work of exceptional
inventiveness and physical beauty, MOMIX has been
conjuring worlds of surrealistic images using props, light,
shadow, humor, and the human body for twenty years.
The company of dancer-illusionists under the direction
of Moses Pendelton returns to The Paramount for Lunar
Sea, a ninety-minute, intermission-less work in two parts.
Phosphorescent sea creatures emerge from the darkness,
bodies seem to float in mid-air, exotic life forms spring to
life unbidden, and the stage is transformed into a hypnotic
moonscape. To miss this breathtaking and imaginative
performance would be sheer lunacy!
Recommended for grades 6 to 8.
Tickets $5
All educational performances last approximately one hour.
