Liz Lerman Dance Exchange returns to The Paramount following their unforgettable performance at the theater’s 2002 groundbreaking! Multi-disciplinary...multi-generational...multi-talented, the Dance Exchange never fails to shatter expectations. For almost three decades, the company has questioned conventions such as who gets to perform, where dance happens, what dance is about, and why it matters. Dance is approached as a multi-disciplinary art form, through a kinetically-lyrical blending of movement, music, imagery, and the spoken word. Dance Exchange projects have engaged, challenged, and re-defined what it means to make dance -- daring to explore meaningful connections between people and art.
