and other CHSO alumni
This special event celebrates the 25th anniversary of Laura Mulligan Thomas as Director of the CHS orchestra and features holiday music by the award-winning CHS String Ensemble, joined by prominent CHS Orchestra alumni musicians. The String Ensemble will play the Corelli "Christmas" Concerto, the Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Greensleeves, the Latham arrangement of the Nutcracker Suite, and Sleigh Ride. Featured alumni will perform solo pieces: among them, Caroline Buckman, a violist who plays with the Gnarls Barkley band, and Carolyn Stuart and Tim Summers, both violinists who perform internationally.
Proceeds benefit the Charlottesville High School Orchestra’s trip to perform in London, England in April 2007
