Pulsating and haunting, Anúna explores 12 centuries of Ireland's vocal traditions. Perhaps best-known for their performance in Riverdance, the group has appeared with The Chieftains, Sting, Elvis Costello, and Sinéad O'Connor. Combining songs in Middle English, Scots Gaelic, Irish, Breton, Medieval Irish, Latin, and Greek, Anúna’s performance spans a thousand years of music history. Emotive and mystical, the music is part folk, part world, part Celtic -- bridging the gap between classical and popular with an extraordinary sound all its own.
