Services for Patrons with Disabilities
Seating
The Paramount Theater is an
accessible facility, offering a pleasurable
experience for persons with disabilities.
Accessible seating arrangements for patrons
with disabilities and a companion are
available for all performances on a first come,
first-served basis. Please mention
your interest in wheelchair-accessible
seating when you place your order, or call
434.979.1333 for more information.
Parking
Parking spaces for persons with
disabilities are available on the first level
of the Water Street parking garage near the
entrance, and on all other levels of the garage
by the elevator. When ordering your tickets,
please ask the Box Office about purchasing a
parking pass. A limited number of on-street
spaces for disabled persons are also available
on Water Street, Market Street, and the
numbered cross streets close to the theater.
Elevator
An elevator serves all levels
of the complex, and may be accessed from
The Paramount's ramped lobby near the
orchestra level auditorium doors.
Restrooms Public restrooms on both the
basement and balcony levels contain facilities
for persons with disabilities. Restroom
facilities are not available in the Box Office.
Audio Aids
Audio enhancement systems
are available for the hearing-impaired
during all performances at The Paramount.
Receivers and earphones may be used free of charge and picked up at the Box Office prior
to the start of the performance.
Sign Language Interpretation
The Paramount will make every effort to
provide sign language interpretation for
performances when requested at least one
week prior to the performance date.
Cancelled Performances
If a Paramount Theater performance is cancelled,
you may return your tickets to The Paramount
Box Office for a full refund or exchange toward
another Paramount Presents event. Refunds
are granted only for cancelled performances.
All events are subject to performer, date, or
time changes. Should a change in the scheduled program occur, The Paramount will make a timely
announcement and contact ticket holders as
efficiently as possible.
Severe Weather Policy
In the case of severe weather conditions,
Paramount Theater events will go on as scheduled
if the artist is in Charlottesville and ready to
perform. Only if the artist is unable to perform as
scheduled will the show be postponed or cancelled.

prior to the performance time.
