Tickets will go on sale  on Tuesday, January 24- the same day the 2012 Oscar nominations are announced.

The Oscars® Are Back In Charlottesville! Put on the glitz and glam, walk the red carpet, and join your friends and fellow arts lovers in celebrating the most exciting night of the entertainment year. Ticket price includes the official Academy Awards® Program; a live HD broadcast of the Oscars hosted by Charlottesville Newsplex’s Tara Wheeler and Dan Schutte; food and drink from over twenty local restaurants and vineyards; and an exclusive chance to bid on Hollywood themed silent auction items- all supporting the upcoming 25th Anniversary Virginia Film Festival.

Tickets are $45.00 and can be purchased online the U.Va. Arts Box Office beginning Tuesday, January 24- the same day the 2012 Oscar nominations are announced.  Tickets will also be available by phone at 434-924-3376 or in person in the lobby of the U.Va. Drama Building, Monday through Friday from Noon to 5:00 p.m.
